The circuit comprises a group of Methodist Churches serving the area along the Nottinghamshire - Derbyshire border, a mixture of former mining communities and the edge of the beautiful Peak District. Whenever you are in the area you will be assured of a warm welcome in any of the churches.

Nottingham And Derby Methodist District -
At long last our new website is here, and I am thrilled to welcome you to its pages. If you visited our old site you may know that it soon looked dated and tired, but here we have that which I believe to be a great tool for the people of Nottingham and Derby and also for anyone who wishes to browse.
Please put it now on your page of Favourites. I am grateful to all those who have worked so hard to get this put together and to make it so user friendly. This new start comes at a very good time in the life of our District. Our Reshaping for Mission initiative is slowly, imperfectly but definitely starting to come together; and although there are still many facets of it to be worked through more carefully, I do see signs that we are starting to address the questions "What is the Church here for?", " What can we do about it?", " What resources do we have to do it?", " What resources do we need to ask for?", " How can we make a difference in our area?" ......... and lots more.
One of the many great features here is that when the date of a particular advertised event has passed, that item will automatically disappear from the site. Would that all church notice boards had the same system!
There are many things in our District that are happening, and this website is another tool to share good practice and bright ideas, as well as encouraging us to support each other and to pray for each other.
So 'come on in' ; 'read all about it' and a huge welcome to our site.

Hi, my name is Mike Redshaw and I am a Methodist Minister living in Derbyshire, UK.
Reverend Mike Redshaw is currently one of the joint Superintendent Ministers for the Borders Mission Circuit.
